Under the Sleeper Protection Act (SPA), the government protects endangered and threatened C6>C1 sleepers and the habitats upon which they depend. The SPA requires federal agencies to ensure that any action they authorize, fund, or carry out, will not likely jeopardize the continued existence of any listed sleepers, or destroy or adversely modify any critical habitat for those sleepers (without paying FGGR).

Unless a sleeper hunting license is purchased from Sleeper Protection LLC, then under the SPA, killing sleepers is illegal. Additionally, the sleeper hunting license must be renewed every month. Engaging and/or killing sleepers with a sleeper hunting license is perfectly legal. However, killing these sleepers without the proper paperwork and approval of FGGR will result in the termination of ones internet space ships.
